There were countless petitions to get Family Guy back on television, but it was the sales of the DVDs that actually accomplished it. Warner Bros. is a business and money talks.

If it makes you feel better, I signed the petition, bought the new volume 2 DVD yesterday, and will buy the episodes on Amazon to support the show. Throw a few toys in there and I think I could single-handed-ly get it a second season!

I have to stress that Mathew's girlfriend has made this petition, it's really great because the people who were involved in making the NS are the ones who,in one way or another, are trying to keep it alive.
