I thought he did pretty well against Kaynar in just straight-up melee combat, stone powers aside. Kaynar came at him with that halberd-type weapon, and all its reach, plus those pseudo-shuriken; and Lion-O just batted those attacks away. He had a lot more control and composure than earlier fights.

Have to give props to the puma too for the lizard headshots, three in a row. That should earn her a trophy.

Solid episode; I really enjoyed the flashbacks as well as the rest of it. It's interesting that Lion-O and Pumyra failed to keep the sword of Plundarr away from Mumm-Ra's clutches and how it now gets more difficult for the heroes; it raises the stakes and makes it all more dramatic.
