I'm glad that a real "ThunderCats" video game is coming out finally.

Looks pretty good for a DS game. And Ocelli will be overjoyed, as she'll have a new DS game to add to her library. Considering the dearth of quality games for the DS (most of it is shovelware, IMO), this is some good news.
It looks almost similar to the Tcats game that came out for the Amiga ages ago. That was also a side-scrolling platformer, but there was no story. And if it weren't for the fact that it was Lion-O running around, it could have been any other generic side-scroller. This game on the other hand looks like it'll be using the context of the show, have a storyline, and the ability to summon the other 'Cats in battle. Also a smart move on Bandai's part to release it as a DS title. They're right; the market penetration of the DS is greater than that of the 3DS right now, so more kids will be likely to play this since most of them would have DSes by now. Still, I'd like to see a Thundercats game come out on the PS3 or Xbox 360. Even if it's a budget title, I'd still like to see a competently designed 3rd person action platformer or something. Maybe have some RPG elements where you can level the characters and get new abilities, switch between characters on the fly, and have some action driving segments in the Thundertank.

I concur on the desire of 360/PS3 versions. I'd buy it on release day.
I see the logic in DS vs 3DS release. More people have regular DS systems and 3DS plays regular DS games. |

![]() I've also posted about an idea for an action/rpg game called "Thundercats - Shadowspy." Last edited by Lady Ocelli; 04-18-2012 at 12:11 PM.. Reason: add on |
