Thank you...I'd like to also add that I'm not suggesting that our Cheetara is perfect. Cause if thats the case..her character is going to end up being a tad boring...Her character needs some kind of conflict, and I think with her it's related to her past..before she joined the clerics. I really think there is more to her story.. something she is hiding from the group...and her beloved Tygra...hopefully we will figure out what that is this season.
If she is hiding so thing I hope we find out as well.

Then what would she be hiding that would make any purpose?

I was hoping she was insecure over the whole sixth sense thing, but I really don't think were going to get anything.

My theory is that Cheetara's family may have had a criminal past of some sort..perhaps nomadic thieves that use their speed to get away quick..never settling in one place to keep away from authorities...they may have wanted Cheetara herself to continue the family practice....Perhaps she decided she wanted to do better with her life and become a cleric.

Dont get me wrong it's a good theory. I just dont see it happening in this show. It seems like people are forgetting it's for kids and it's gotta be simple enough for them to understand which it still is. Some stuff are for older fans as well but most of it is for kids.

With that in mind.. I just don't see them bring up "that" kind of past. She probably just got left there cause she was different (maybe cause she did not want to be a thief?), her parents died and just had no where else to go. Kinda sucks this was not a japanese anime or an adaption of a manga. Take Naruto for instance. Good progression (if you ignore fillers) characters talk much, much backstory, not many but GOOD fights, last but not least, people die, there is blood, tragedy and more "bad ****".

My point is, this show would have had the potential to be more adult oriented. What if it was a little darker? Just to match adults instead of kids at least. Change the dialogue so it matches adults etc etc. Even though this is my big problem when watching cartoons i still almost everytime wish for it.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same. I wish there were a few more adult elements in it. Maybe just a little more violence and other stuff. They probably could get away with some of it because the TV-PG rating can be pushed pretty far sometimes.

Just because it's a kid's show doesn't mean it can't have people die or good fights and characterization. Look at Avatar TLA and Legend of Korra. Their fights are professionally choreographed by martial artists and characters do die (though none of the Main team did). Also Thundercats does have people die. Thundercats had Emrick die. And Captain Toonar. And Claudus. etc. etc.

Don't forget that the show even killed Lion-O (I know, I know, he got better) but we still got to watch him drown in a rather graphic scene for a kids show. That's pretty scary stuff.

Even being a kids show (technically), I still think there is a lot of room for a lot more action, explosions, fights and swordplay. I mean Thundercats is an epic action adventure show right? So less love triangles, more Panthro blowing s**t up with the Thundertank! I think personally it would even boost the ratings even more.
