Yeah that mag went about 8 months ago. It was a Wizard mag though, it had nothing to do with Toyfare just the name. It was a good read sometimes, but with the net the images were alreasy weeks old by the time it hit print |

I hope Bandai was just lying but, they told Pixel Dan earlier that they wouldn't have anything new to show.

Even if nothing new is shown, I at least expected to see a list or announcement made revealing some new stuff for waves coming later in the year.

This stall is probably owing to the show not airing for 2 months now...

I'd always said it be unlikely Bandai would show anything new, when wave 2 has only just hit stores recently.
We will probably see some new stuff nearer the summer months, for an Autumn release ![]() |

Going by what TNI said what happened at Toy Fair this year was not a good sign.
Has the line been cancelled? Is the series not far behind? |

I wouldn't rely on TNi. They post a lot of mis-information just to try and get a scoop.
From previous experience Bandai aren't renowned for their BIG reveals. We got images and a press release for wave 2 remember and NOT a reveal at a toy event. I'd expect the same for wave 3 if I'm being honest. I'm not saying there isn't problems as I'm not an oracle, nor do I have insider info. There is just many factors to think about to explain the lack of new product at NYTF. We also have to remember the show is on hiatus and WB/CN might not want new figures revealed until those characters have been seen on screen. On another forum someone made the comment about the ThunderCats display being huge last year compared to this... well last year they were launching the brand from scratch. Its possible ThunderCats has retail support to continue, whereas they need to push other brands such as a revamped Ben 10 to get retailers on board for the new stuff. NYTF was all about selling to retailers. Not selling to fans. So long as they have retail support the line will continue. |
