Not good, I'm sure. Cartoon Network can't realistically expect the show to maintain ratings when they do those moronic breaks. Hopefully those overpriced DVDs sell well.

Funny enough buying the Episodes on i-Tunes is more expensive. At 2.99 a piece the first 8 Episodes would be 23.92. The Dvd is Base 20.00 and Amazon has it for 16.49 right now. I think the plan was always for a quick to DVD product. Funny though I thought they would jump on the Blue Ray Band Wagon but no. These Episodes actually do play out very well back to back but are a bit hard to fallow week after week. Not to mention when they add a six week gap. The Idea of a quick to DVD Product also goes along with getting more merchandise out on the Shelves for the Kiddies to want and buy. Especially coming into the Holiday Season. Get them good and Hooked now so they will want to get it all even as they bring out new stuff after the Holidays.

Yuck... why is it I can always see these terrific Sales ploys just before or as they come out but can never think of them when they would actually do me some good.

Getting back on topic I do think this was a great episode to return to the series with after it's hiatus.

they were still pretty steady actually. went down a little, but i think a few premieres and the world series couldn't have helped.

@Draphin: Blu-Ray discs tend to cost a little more to produce than DVDs, plus, on a logistical standpoint, I honestly think that a Blu-Ray boxed set, containing the entire first season would be more worth while, than just a quarter of the first season.

I thought that this was a pretty good episode especially considering the last few were pretty lion-o centric, but I like lion-o a lot more in this version so even those don't bother me. The cameos were really cool to see and I hope we get to see hook mountain. The conquedor (sp?) was a neat addition and selling the berbils as slaves makes perfect sense for a villian to do, even though the only time the berbils get captured it seems is when the forget that they can turn into wheels and run much faster.....

Default loved this episode

Loved this episode for all the reasons everyone has mentioned- and one not. This is episode gave us a glimpse into what type of king Lion-o will be and how different he is from Claudius. Especially with regards to one issue: slavery. When Grune brings all the lizards as slaves- Claudius accepts them, along with the huge gem as gifts. In this episode Lion-o states "these bears are not your property!" - this shows to me at least how different the son is from the father, and how it must be lion o- to unite all animals- and it could not be any one else.
