Default Other favourite shows growing up?

Apart from Thundercats (of course), what other shows did everyone love back in the 80s? Or whatever your vintage, I suppose.

I was always something of an action cartoon junkie, and my favourites were:
Visionaries: Knights Of The Magical Light
Defenders Of The Earth
The Legend Of Prince Valiant

I was also lucky enough to be just the right age when the big Gerry Anderson revival hit in the early 90s, and Thunderbirds has really held up.

Although arguably the greatest kids' show of all time was "Knightmare". Friday afternoons held a special place in my heart there.

That's just a list of the ones that I still love even today, mind. If I gave the full list, I'd be here until christmas - 2016!

I was a 90's kid, but I liked more action cartoons than anything. So shows like Teen Titans, Justice League Unlimited, Avatar:The Last Airbender, somewhat Ben 10, and various others were a staple of my youth and still are today.

Okay, I'm probably going to date myself big time here, but as a child of the '70s, I had my own particular list of favorites growing up. I doubt you may have heard of most of them. But that's what Wikipedia is for. So without further ado...

Speed Racer
Marine Boy
Ultraman
Johnny Sokko & His Flying Robot
Space Giants
Space Ghost (original)
The Herculoids
Jonny Quest
Godzilla (Hanna-Barbera animated series)
Battle of the Planets (American dub of the anime Science Ninja Team Gatchaman)
Star Blazers
Land of the Lost
Superfriends
Space: 1999
Star Trek: TOS
Lost in Space
Thundarr the Barbarian
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Battlestar Galactica (original)
Doctor Who
Robotech

I've noticed that a majority of these shows were Japanese that were translated and brought over here. Don't know if that's significant.

I've watched some of the stuff on KorbenDallas' list as well. Also, Mind Your Language, which is a politically incorrect sitcom, but good comedy for me (as a Sri-Lankan). And the Doctor in the House series. Also, Franklin (The one about the little turtle) and Rocky and Bullwinkle and old Hanna-Barbera productions, such as Birdman and the Galaxy Trio.
