Yes, we are. It will help judge what we will do with the plot of the comics.

Cool. We definitely want as many contributors as possible.

So how many names do you need and do you need a rough description for each one?

We'll have to wait and see. We haven't even began to write for it yet.

I'm still working on some ideas. I'm trying to figure out how to incorporate stuff from the OS into the NS.

You know, if this fan comic really takes off and we end up finishing the arc with Mumm-Ra, maybe we could try our hand at doing the Lunatacs. I liked them in the OS, and if others didn't then we could make them better. I thought of introducing them earlier, maybe as an allusion or a cameo like Mon*star, but right now I think they might just get in the way until Mumm-Ra's dealt with. Remember in the flashback in Legacy, Mumm-Ra's pyramid crashed because of some electric storm happening between Third Earth and one of its moons? Maybe they had something to do with it.
And of course, we should find a way to work in the Silverhawks, possibly as the first humans to appear. I'm thinking that they could have been in cryo sleep, and end up being awoken if Mon*Star comes back, possibly being freed from his own prison. Maybe he possessed the War Stone and used it as his eye at some point in the distant past, but he lost it and it was used by those aliens Mumm-Ra stole it from. We could use it as a chance for some exposition and help explain more of the origins of the stones, or the animal races. Before that though, we definitely have to get the Blue stone and Tigersharks in there. I was thinking that instead of the Sharks having the stone, that T-Ray could have it and be using it to try and conquer undersea lands. The TigerSharks team could be like a band of rebels. This is opposed to how the other two stones were used or hidden by the birds and elephants. I feel that we need to find a way to differentiate the Sharks from the other races in terms of culture as well. The cats are warriors, the elephants spiritual, and the birds intellectual. If the blue stone has elemental powers, I think the underwater societies should be based around the use of magic and mysticism. Sorcery could be more mundane to them, as opposed to the surface world where it seems fewer people know how to wield it. Last edited by Gold Lion; 08-11-2012 at 07:14 PM.. |
