I apologize if this is documented somewhere, but after searching and reading I am still having trouble finding all of the answers...
I am wondering what the best way to identify the manufacturer (or variations) of the classic loose figures. It is my understanding that there were several companies from different countries that produced figures such as LJN, Rainbow, Playful, Glasslite, Unitoys etc. Are the stamps on the bottom of the feet the best way to tell? I believe that LJN and Playful are both be stated on the stamp, but is this true for all of the companies? I would appreciate any insight from the seasoned collectors. Thanks. |

Glasslites are stamped glasslite, unitoys are stamped playful. Theres way more info on the varations page or any search of variants. If u have any specific questions beyond those pages ill see if i can help

Thanks! I have been trying to read through all of the applicable old posts as I can find time. Hopefully slowly but surely I will get the hang of things.
