First of all, just for the record, this thread was not created for SirSapphire to gloat about his fanfic (that seems to be the subject everyone is talking about)
Second of all: I repeat It just occurred to me, if Lion-O does fall for a Warrior Maiden, wouldn't Nayda be a better choice than Willa? Both she and Lion-O are the youngest in a litter of two Both have most likely had to live with their older siblings gloating about their accomplishments and both have likely had to live with the fact that their own people favored their older sibling over them Just a thought Thirdly, If Lion-O and Willa actually do meet and form a romance, maybe a problem they both could have is them both questioning whether or not being a King/Queen is worth all the trouble it brings. Only for them both to come to the realization that what they do is for their people, and that's what makes all the pain and drudgery worthwhile |

Just a thought, what if it turns out that Willa and her people are worshipers of Mumm-Rana?
They built their village nearby her dwelling and hailed her as a goddess Just a thought |

I see them as tree dwelling Amazonian women. As to how they reproduce, I have story where they raid villages, especially among a group of only males, and use such males to produce children. The boys are either discarded or sent to the fathers, the girls stay with them. I even have a bit of violent rivalry between them and the Brotherhood of the Axe, because most of their number, the Brotherhood, are used as slave labor.
Humans are very suspicious of any animals, but especially the cats, after the crash of the pyramid and the decline of most humans on Third Earth. So neither Warrior Maidens, nor Brotherhood of the Axe like the cats, anymore than they do each other. (hench the xenophobia seen in the OS, being brought into the NS) Merged Post: That is a pretty good thought. It would bring a nice addition in that we would finally see her as well. Or....they were conquered by Mumm-Ra and taken from another destroyed planet ages ago and cursed by the ASOE to be infertile and immortal forever, as punishment for not obeying them.

Yours are good as well. I do try to put in as many ideas that fit the overall TC atmosphere. We all do.

I just had a thought regarding the episode (if there is one) that the Warrior Maidens appear in (if they even do).
I think a good title idea would be "Warrior Spirit" or "Maidens of the Trees" What do ya think? In regard to the Lion-O/Willa ship possibility, as many of you have already pointed out, Lion-O and Willa would both likely get called out by their followers for the mere fact that they have feelings for a creature outside their species. I forsee Tygra saying something like "Lion-O, look at her, she's not our kind". But whatever the comment, i also forsee both Lion-O and Willa telling their subordinates that their love lives are none of their business |
