just a quick question on her
was she only made for the comic by star/marvel
was just wondering why shes not up as a good thundercat or even thundarian on the character page here,is it cause she never appeared in the cartoon?

Hey there, welcome to the forums!

To answer your question - yep, Lynxana was created by Marvel for their ThunderCats comic series, she never appeared in the cartoon series, which is the reason why she doesn't appear in our ThunderCats Encyclopedia, as the Encyclopedia pertains specifically to the cartoon series!

Might be worth you taking a look at our Original Comic Art Gallery, specifically the section dealing with the US Marvel/Star Comics: http://www.thundercatslair.org/comic...vel/index.html . From memory there's quite a few Lynxana images in there, although of course sadly they're all in black & white. Hopefully that's of some help, anyway!

EDIT: There's also a lovely fact file of Lynxana that was featured in the UK comics (which were also published by Marvel), which gives you a decent colour scheme for her, at least from the front angle - this image is hosted on my friend Purrsia's site: http://www.purrsiathunder.org/tcmemo.../ukstarcomics6 . Woo Hoo! Alright, another Lynxana fan! I was feeling lonely LOL. Hey, ya got good taste.

I bet you were all wondering when I would pipe in, didn't you?

A few years ago, I scanned all of the Lynxana issues for the U.S. Star comics and they are at Purrsia's site. I also scanned other issues too but I never finished the enter collection due to it killing my scanner ROFLMAO. You can download them and they are in pdf format. I used high quality scans when I did it back in 2007.

You are better off using issues #4 and #5 because they are much better drawn than the U.K issue #65 because the U.K. one makes Lynxie look like's she let herself go and gained weight Except for the fact file, that is accurate. Also, the details are not all there and the ones that are, are incorrect. What is odd is that in issue #6. it's listed as Jim Mooney as the artist and yet that issue looks nothing like his work whatsoever.

Edit I had to edit this because I forgot that even though I do own that issue (U.K. #65), the entire issue of #65 is not downloadable on Purrsia's site. I was making references that nobody is going to know what I am talking about. It was a long day with getting ready for a blizzard in my area and my brain was fried.

I'm sure by now you can figure out Lynxie is my favorite

I'm curious, are you going to be making the custom figure yourself or are you going to have someone do it for you? I would like to see the results when it is finished.
