Well people....I have to say that I am more that just a little upset with Bandai America. Multiple fans have posted on their wall, and get no reply. So, here's what I want you guys to do:
SPAM THE **** OUT OF THEIR WALL. And I'd like you guys to do it ONCE a day, EVERY day, until they reply PROPERLY! On top of that, we need to call them once a day, every day, until they stop screwing around and give us the proper service we deserve as customers! Even if you're just a fan of the old series, you should call and post! Our patronage will assure that the Classic's line will be fully fleshed out! WE CANNOT REMAIN SILENT ON THIS ISSUE! Their phone number is 714-816-9560. Start calling in on Monday and DO NOT STOP! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! |

do you honestly think that annoying a company will make them reconsider canceling a brand that isnt selling?

At this point in time, I think Warner Bros. would be better off selling the license to Mattel, so we get 6" figures on Matty Collector of both the classic and new series characters (similiar to what they do with MOTU and all it's incarnations)
I really don't see much point annoying Bandai, since if they have completely cancelled the line, then it's unlikely the decision will be reversed. It's best to propell all your energy at Warner Bros. and Mattel, as that would likely suit fan needs much better than the Bandai retail line. |

Initially Mattel was to take the license but in the end the company backed down or didn't try enough to acquire it. Do you really think now with all the upheaval, especially if the worst case scenario comes true and there is no Season 2, will like to produce Tcats for the NS?? i think it is late
Also, i don't mind so much with the Classic line, we have 3 companies working on them now, the matter is the NS figs.

Regarding the classic series figures, only one company has rights to make something articulated and that is Mezco.
However, they don't have the rights for anything but oversized action-statues rather than figures. |

We're probably better off calling WB wanting a new season and a better toy company. |

Why bother them? Because they are not doing their jobs, that's why! Thundercats' appearances on shelves is sparse at best. They're all but killing their own chances right off the bat! If we inform them of the support the brands has, and WHY we don't believe it's selling, they MIGHT listen!
News Flash people: BANDAI DOESN'T CHECK THIS MESSAGE BOARD. You want them to fix something? TELL THEM WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. If nothing else, maybe our open interest will spark the attention of Mattel, or another company that's competent. Perhaps causing one to pick up the license and deal with it properly. |

I'm not sure what contacting Bandai at this point will accomplish. The line is cancelled and it's been cancelled since at least February.
WB offered Mattel the license and Mattel turned it down per Scott Neitlich. Mattel didn't want it because they already had Voltron. No one else is going to pick it up right now for the current show because the current show and toyline was a failure. They'd have to reboot it another time somewhere down the line. |
