Notes of Interest: This is a very unique and exciting piece of artwork, one of six such pieces that we have showcased in this gallery. Drawn by Ed McGuinness, the main penciller on DC/Wildstorm's first ThunderCats mini-series, this piece is believed to have been commissioned by Cartoon Network as concept art for a proposed new ThunderCats cartoon series! Whilst this series never came to be, nonetheless these pieces of artwork do provide an interesting look at what might have been, as well as serving as lovely pieces of art in their own right.
