Notes of Interest: This special commission piece, taken from the collection of comic art collector Ray Blanco, was drawn by Ed McGuinness, primary artist on DC/Wildstorm's first ThunderCats mini-series, and is believed to be a private commission that he drew for someone. Stylistically the pose of Lion-O is not completely dissimilar to the front cover of DC/Wildstorm's ThunderCats Issue #2, the main difference being that in this piece Lion-O isn't looking through the Sword of Omens' hilt!
