Those of you who've been following updates from this site for a couple of years will know that we're all big fans of a magazine called cereal:geek, which is devoted to 1980s animation. The latest issue of this magazine, Issue 5, has recently been published, and this issue is devoted to the many comic tie-ins that were around back in the 1980s, showcasing more adventures from our favourite cartoon heroes.
Why are we telling you about this? Because, this latest issue of cereal:geek magazine features a special, extensive article about the UK ThunderCats comic that was published by Marvel from 1987 - 1991, written by none other than ThunderCats Lair's very own Chris, a.k.a. He-Fan!
cereal:geek is a hugely popular magazine amongst fans of 1980s animation, and looks set to get even bigger thanks to the efforts of its editor, our good friend James Eatock, who has recently set up a distribution deal for the magazine with Diamond Distribution, the world's largest distributor of comics, graphic novels, and related pop-culture merchandise. All of us at ThunderCats Lair are excited to see these developments, and hope that cereal:geek will continue to entertain animation lovers all over the world as we move towards 2010!
12.10.2009 | New ThunderCats flashgame revealed at kidsWB official site Posted by: Grizzlor
The KidsWB website recently released a flash animated webgame that actually kind of rocks. The artwork in the background to the game is wonderful too, clearly WB decided to put some effort into this. The sprites in the game are put together thoughtfully and with a fair amount of attention to detail.
Could this indicate good things for the ThunderCats property?
