Now THAT is a cool rendition of Mumm-Ra. This is a work in progress update from Hard Hero on everyone's favourite mummy. Notice the sarcophagus in the background.
This is a slight departure from the statues we've seen so far, as this isn't drawn directly from the opening credits. But it's a classic scene we're all familiar with and has just the right amount of creep appeal.

ThunderCatsLair.org is pleased to be able to share this turnaround video of a work in progress sculpt of Ma-Mutt. It's not certain yet whether the evil canine companion will be packaged with the Mumm-Ra statue or if he'll come in his own packaging, but the intent is that collectors can display the two side by side. Ma-Mutt won't necessarily be the next statue to be released either.
For those collectors who have been hoping to see more secondary characters being created for the line this should be a good sign of things to come. Enjoy the exclusive clip secured by ThunderCatsLair.org

All of us on the ThunderCats Lair team would like to say a big thank you to all the fans and visitors to this site for all of your fantastic support! In terms of updates to the site we know this has been a quiet year, mainly due to how busy some of us (particularly Chris a.k.a. He-Fan) suddenly find ourselves in our "offline" lives.
However, this doesn't mean that we've given up on or forgotten about this site - we're currently working on a couple of updates that we hope you guys will enjoy!
In the meantime, one thing we have been working on is setting up a new YouTube channel for the site! Over the coming weeks and months we hope to fill this up with all manner of great content to compliment what we already have hosted here on the main ThunderCats Lair site!
To get our YouTube channel off to a great start, we have something really special - a fantastic ThunderCats Lair promotional video put together by our very own Encyclopedia illustrator and critically-acclaimed artist Kyle Lambert!
Kyle actually re-animated part of the ThunderCats opening sequence especially for this video, re-drawing Lion-O frame-by-frame and also recreating the space environment background! We're all really proud of Kyle for coming up with this amazing piece, so we hope you enjoy it!
Thanks also to ThunderCats Lair forum member EternalKnights who created the orchestral reworking of the ThunderCats theme music used as the soundtrack to the video, and of course to the legendary voice of Lion-O Larry Kenney for providing the voiceover!
