According to a Variety article, Warner Bros. has decided to drop Venice-based visual effects house Digital Domain for the upcoming animated movie, ThunderCats. Digital Domain was originally signed on to do both the video game and feature film including a proof-of-concept test footage, however WB is said to be going a different direction with the project.

The good news for ThunderCats fans is that the project has not been cancelled and will move forward with a different direction.

Courtesy of our newest team member Nick Mills, ThunderCats Lair is proud to present an extensive and highly informative exclusive audio interview with one of the ThunderCats series' most prolific and influential writers, Peter Lawrence! Check out the interview here!

Also, you may notice that the section of the site hosting Nick's interviews has now been revamped to include personal insight from Nick himself about each interview! In addition to this, the interviews have been re-located to a brand new Interviews Section within the Cartoon area. Located in here from now on will be any new interviews that Nick is able to bring us, as well as now being the new home for the previously unpublished text interview with Larry Kenney that we published to the site last year around the time of Larry's 60th birthday.

In addition to this, we're also proud to host a special ThunderCats audio documentary created by Nick as a special project. This documentary features comments and insight from fans, as well as portions of interviews with Larry Kenney and ThunderCats writer Kimberly Morris, and is well worth a listen!
