Today is great day for ThunderCats collectors. A unique and almost one of a kind toy has surfaced. This perhaps is the rarest of all produced ThunderCats in existence. Thought to have been only an idea pitched for the 1987 LJN Dealer catalog, the Laser Sabers with a packaged figure has surfaced. The figure packaged is none other than Ben Gali. This was long thought to be unproduced as it had never to our knowledge ever been marketed. The case number information matches the LJN 1987 Dealer Catalog and the art is consistent with many of the ThunderCats packaging. A true beatuty!!!!

This piece was found by UK collector Luke Tomlinson this past Saturday while browsing a UK toy store online. Luke explained in brief detail how he came about this item:

"The story is that this saturday i looked at a UK website company who had previously sold there thundercat moc items on the uk ebay site. They didnt list this item and they said they had more which they would list on there website at the weekend. So by chance i looked on there website and saw this item on there so as i always look at thundercat moc's ive never seen it before and decided to risk it and buy the item. i got it yesterday and knew it was rare"
