3.22.2008 | Easter weekend update!
Posted by: He-Fan

Happy Easter from all the team at ThunderCats Lair!

To celebrate this special weekend we have several updates for you to both our Cartoon and Comics sections! First up is the addition of five more episodes to our continually expanding revamped Episode Guide, featuring the usual array of screenshots, insightful information, synopses, reviews and memorable quotes!

Members of our forums have already had a sneak peak at this, but for those who haven't seen it yet, the latest article to be added to the Cartoon Section is Exodus: The Deleted Scenes, a detailed feature showcasing several scenes that were present in the ThunderCats pilot (including its release on VHS home video as part of what is known as the "movie version" of "Exodus"), but ultimately cut from the stand-alone version of the episode "Exodus". As well as describing and providing insight into these scenes, this article is packed full of screenshots, video clips, and even soundclips of a couple of lines of dialogue that never even made it to the TV! Intrigued? Check out the article! Enjoy!

For fans of the ThunderCats comics, ThunderCats Lair is proud to present a small update to our special ThunderCats Original Comic Art Gallery, with the addition of the following fabulous pieces of artwork:

Once again, ThunderCats Lair would like to publicly thank all those who have donated images to this gallery!

Last but by no means least, towards the end of last year Chris had the pleasure of speaking with legendary UK comic artist Martin Griffiths - Martin worked extensively on the UK ThunderCats comic, and was happy to share his memories from working on the comic in this insightful interview! Martin also gave us a look at the beautiful new ThunderCats poster he has produced:

Once again, a very happy Easter to all ThunderCats fans - keep checking back to ThunderCats Lair for more news and updates!

3.05.2008 | ThunderCats artist - solving the mystery
Posted by: Grizzlor

Grizzlor who runs the Animation Art section of the site is looking for your help in tracking down the mysterious artist who painted the iconic piece of art that was plastered on most of the merchandise created for the show.

If you know who the artist was, or know of somebody who might then please contact me. It was created for the promotional literature that went out to TV station sometime between 1982 and 1985.

Please feel free to forward the website address below to anybody you think may be able to assist.

Thanks!
