We can now confirm that the first UK Thundercats DVD boxset, Season 1, Volume 1 will mirror that which was released in the United States. It will contain the first 33 episodes of the series as follows below, as well as the 7 minute featurette FEEL THE MAGIC - HEAR THE ROAR: THUNDERCATS FANS SPEAK OUT!

The best news about this set is the fact that all 33 episodes will be uncut. As many UK fans are aware, when the episodes aired on the BBC in the 80's/90's scenes were cut from quite a few episodes. Well we can confirm that they will definately be fully intact!

Sadly it seems (like the R1 set) we will also be getting the edited version of 'Exodus' seeing as it's showing a running time of 22 minutes and 6 seconds.

In related news, HMV are claiming they are selling this 6 disc boxset as an exclusive to them. They state that this will be the only way of buying these episodes in the UK! Strange that, seeing as Amazon.co.uk have had it up for pre-order now for a couple of weeks. We will certainly keep you informed about this as soon as we learn more about this exciting release! I can only assume it's an Amazon 'exclusive' as well or the HMV set will contain something a regular released set won't.
