Tomorrow sees the long anticipated release of the final region 1 Thundercats DVD boxset to be released by Warner Home Video. This means that all 130 original Thundercats episodes will now be available for the first time ever on home video!

The boxset contains episodes 100-130 spread across 6 discs, following straight on from where the previous boxset left off. The extra feature on this is an interactive game featuring the voice talent of Larry Kenney. 11.18.2006 | Are Warner Bros. Home Video UK About to Unleash ThunderCats on DVD?

Word has reached the ThunderCats fan community from a keen fellow fan on our sister forum, eyeofthundera.net that they noticed amazon.co.uk now has a pre-order up for a ThunderCats Season 1, Volume 1 DVD boxset to be released on 15th January 2007. According to the listing, the set will have a total running time of 733 minutes, perhaps indicating it will contain the same amount of episodes we saw on the region 1 North American DVD release? Amazon have a pre-order price of just 19.49 for the boxset.

Of course all this information is subject to change, but we hope to keep a close eye on this story and we will post an update as soon as any further news reaches us! Be sure to stay tuned!
